Leave Ornos in the late afternoon for a swim in a bay on the south coast, then sail up the west side of the island as the light turns. The captain holds the yacht off Little Venice and the windmills of Chora, most of them built in the 16th century, while the sun drops into the sea toward Tinos and Syros.

Wine, beer and soft drinks are on board. Add a bottle of Veuve Clicquot, Moët Ice Impérial or Grey Goose (€250), Chateau Miraval rosé (€95), a Seabob (€450) or a sound upgrade (€500) when you book. For a proposal or an anniversary we can arrange flowers and a photographer.

In June the sun sets around 20:45 and in September around 19:40, so most sunset cruises start three to four hours earlier. Pick the yacht, 4 hours and your start time in the booking engine, pay a 30% deposit online and get your confirmation with the meeting point by email.

Captain, fuel, water and soft drinks, wine and beer, snacks and fruit, towels, snorkelling gear, WiFi and port fees. Not included: transfer to and from your villa, Delos entrance tickets.
FAQ
From €850 for 4 hours on the Superonda 29 RIB, up to 8 guests. Larger yachts such as the Pershing 54 start at €2,900. Prices are per yacht and include captain, fuel and drinks.
Usually three to four hours before sunset: around 17:00 in June and July, earlier in September. You choose the exact start time in 15-minute steps when you book.
On land, Little Venice and the Kato Mili windmills, which get very crowded. From the sea you see both at once, with no crowd and the sun setting straight ahead.
All boat trips are weather permitting. If the Port Authority does not allow departure because of the weather, you move to another date or get a full refund if a new date is not possible. The captain may change the route for your safety and comfort.
