Day one: land, transfer to the villa, from €150, and a slow afternoon by the pool. At sunset walk Little Venice and the Kato Mili windmills, then dinner in town. Day two: a half day yacht to Delos and Rhenia in the morning, from €850, back for a late lunch at a south coast beach club and a last sunset from the terrace.

Add a beach day. Start with Psarou or Platis Gialos when the meltemi blows, or Agios Sostis on a calm day, then lunch at Nammos or a beach taverna. In the evening, go out properly: Little Venice cocktails, bars around Matoyianni and a club like Cavo Paradiso, with a car and driver from €600 to bring you home.

With five days you can slow down. Rent a car from €45 per day on drivemykonos.com and explore Ano Mera, the Panagia Tourliani monastery and the Armenistis lighthouse. Spend a day at the villa with a private chef from €500 and a massage from €250, and take a helicopter tour over the island from €1,000.

A week lets you add Paros or Tinos. Ferries link Mykonos with both, or a helicopter takes you to Paros from €1,500, with Tinos, Naxos and Santorini quoted on request. A car waits on landing, and you can be back on Mykonos for a final sunset.
